Here in the US it's said that Prague is one of the last 'old world European' cities- do you think that's true? The only other city I've heard that said about is Venice.

The Rock Cakes recipe sounds yummy. Perhaps daughter & I will make some this weekend.

Husband & I were addicted to Cold Feet when it was on over here. Footballers' Wives just started as well. FW in particular reminds me of Dynasty & Dallas.

Okay, I'm only a little neurotic but I lied a little ;)

I *love* Strictly Ballroom, the Fifth Element (Heeeelllloooo, Bruce) and Starship Troopers - how could I have forgotten to put them on my list!!

Battlestar Galactica rocks!!

I'm not sure but a jacket potato might be what we call potato skins. Baked potato cut in 4 length wise, scoop out potato and put loads of cheese, sour cream, bacon on top so really, not much potato. Jacket potatoes sound like a loaded up baked potato. There is only one way for me to eat a baked potato. Lots and lots of butter and salt. Yummmm.

Bread - could eat fresh bread with butter by the loaves.

Mmmm.....bread. I love bread.

And potatoes....I had smashed Yukon Golds tonight. Yum. So is a jacket potato just a potato baked in its skin?

Mate, you watch Footballer's Wives on DVD? And I thought I was bad just watching it on TV!

Amanda - hm, my initial response was Prague is just like any other European city, including London, a mixture of old and new. Prague Castle is relatively new, for example [like many Scottish castles - the majority were built during the Georgian/Victorian era]. But, yes, it has the 'Old European' feel to it. My favourite part of Prague is 'Old Town'. It's truly fantastic. It's a wildly confusing maze of cobbled streets and alleys. Like other European cities, the city has many tourist spots, which is a bit of a downer, but if you embark outside the city, it's wonderland. I have to say, I nicknamed Prague 'the city of music' because you can't walk a mile without tripping over a concert. I had the bad luck of having an apartment over a jazz club because my work schedule required me to sleep in early evening 'til 3am, so try sleeping while jazz music plays. It sure evolved me into one major bitch. :D If you had to choose, I'd recommend Prague. Have fun making Rock Cakes! It's incredibly easy to make.

CindyS - I think everyone is neurotic, but Sue was massively neurotic. So much that I felt I was her P.A.-cum-nurse-cum-counsellor. :> No, what you described is what we call potato skins as well. A jacket potato is just a baked potato.

Nicole - Bread. I lurve bread. The fastest way to put on weight, which is one of reasons why I love bread. :D Yes, a jacket potato is baked in its skin. Spot on.

Dana - heh! Thanks for letting me know. :D

Karen - um, yeah. At least I don't have to wait for a week for the next episode. Come on, FW is a classic. Where else can you get so much tackiness in one go? :P
